Ingredients
- ▢2 thick bone in pork chops
- ▢1 teaspoon olive oil
Pork Chop Rub
- ▢1 teaspoon salt
- ▢1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- ▢½ tablespoon garlic powder
- ▢2 tablespoons brown sugar
- ▢½ tablespoon onion powder
- ▢½ tablespoon smoked paprika
Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Make the rub: To a small bowl, mix the salt, pepper, garlic powder, brown sugar, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Set aside.
- Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel on both sides.
- Brush each pork chop with olive oil on both sides.
- Sprinkle both sides of the pork chops with the rub and press it into the pork chops.
- Add the pork chops to the air fryer and cook for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, flip and cook for an additional 5 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit as read by a food thermometer.
- Remove the pork chops from the air fryer and let rest on a plate for 3 minutes before cutting. Then enjoy with your favorite side dishes.
